GN 03138 - is an upright Great Northern for direct harvest evaluation, with preliminary testing showing resistance to NY15 strain of bean common mosaic virus and resistance to rust. It's a full season variety maturing 2-4 days later than Marquis. Preliminary yield data from ID and NE shows it out-yielding Marquis by +550 lbs./AC. Seed count for 03138 is 1,129 sds./lb. compared to Marquis at 1,382 sds./lb.
