GN 05106 - is an upright Great Northern for direct harvest evaluation, with preliminary testing showing resistance to NY15 strain of bean common mosaic virus and resistance to rust. It's a midseason variety maturing 4 days earlier than Marquis. Preliminary yield data from ID and NE shows it out-yielding Marquis by 100 lbs./AC. Seed count for 05106 is 1,200 sds./lb. compared to Marquis at 1384 sds.
