more vine and enhanced yield potential, depending on
prevailing environmental factors. Marquis matures in
approximately 95 days, or about 3 days later than Beryl.
Quality - Marquis typically yields approximately 1,450
attractive, chalky-white seeds per pound. Its outstanding
seed appearance and canning quality characteristics
have contributed to Marquis’ overall success.
Disease Tolerance - Marquis has shown resistance to
the prevalent strains of Bean Common Mosaic virus. It
has also exhibited good field tolerance to Halo and
Common bacterial diseases and several races of bean
rust and white mold.
