Foxfire
Foxfire's upright, determinate bush holds most pods off the ground. Like Early California light red kidney, Foxfire matures in approximately 84 - 87 days. Foxfire typically yields approximately 900 attractive, deep rosy colored seeds per pound. This variety has demonstrated superior canning characteristics. Foxfire has demonstrated resistance to the prevalent strains of Bean Common Mosaic virus. It has shown good field tolerance to the current races of bean rust and to bacterial blights, as compared to Early California light red kidney.
