Ensign is a broadly adapted white navy bean that typically matures several days earlier than Schooner. Its upright structure and high scattered pod set helps facilitate irrigation timing and reduce the incidence of white mold and water damage. An even dry down enhances Ensign's yield potential.

ECONOMIC PROFILE
Ensign's early to medium maturity makes it a good candidate for replants or late plants. Its maturity, coupled with a good dry down at harvest,may give growers peace-of-mind and flexibility when used to enhance their varietal makeup.
